| 욕먹을 줄 아는 리더 |
아이러니하게도, 어려운 결정을 무작정 미루는 것,
단 한 사람의 마음도 불편하지 않게 하려고 노력하는 것,
기여도와 상관없이 모두에게 똑같이 잘해주는 것,
리더의 이런 행동 때문에 정말로 미치는 쪽은
그 조직에서 가장 창의적이고 생산적인 사람들뿐이다.
(Ironically, by procrastinating on the difficult choices,
by trying not to get anyone mad,
and by treating everyone equally “nicely” regardless of their contributions,
you’ll simply ensure that the only people you’ll wind up angering are the
most creative and productive people in the organization.)

일자리를 잃고 한순간에 거리로 내몰릴 수도 있습니다.
리더는 현명하게 욕먹을 줄 알아야 합니다.
A leader needs to know how to take the blame.
A cowardly leader who only wants appraisal and
constantly needs to please everyone will ultimately lead the team to failure.
When a team fails, the jobs and livelihood of the entire group are on the line,
and so the leader must know how to take responsibility and take the blame. |
